Stephen Hawking may be a genius in physics, but he is not so impressive in his logic.  In his new book which is about to come out next week, The Grand Design, he contends that the creation of our universe is not due to the finger of God, but to the pull of gravity.  With or without God, it would have happened just the same. Historic agreement signed in Bethlehem

(Jerusalem/Cts-Mab) – On September 2nd an important agreement was signed in Bethlehem concerning the restoration of the roof of the Church of the Nativity of Jesus.

The agreement was signed by the Custos of the Holy Land, Fr. Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theophilos III and the representative of the Armenian Patriarch Torkom II Manoogian. In the Basilica of the Nativity, as in all the sanctuaries to which the Status Quo applies, no renovation can be carried out without the agreement of the three “joint landlords”. (more…)
