On 6th August the feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ was celebrated on Mount Tabor in Galilee.  Mount Tabor has been considered as the traditional place of the Transfiguration from the early centuries of Christianity. (more…)

The Israeli Ministry for Tourism published some interesting statistics regarding Christian visitors to the Holy Land. The statistics were published ahead of Pope Benedict XVI’s visit last May and reflect the situation as it stood in 2008. (more…)
