I was surprised, but grateful and happy, when a Ghanaian player who scored the winning goal against the United States, publicly expressed his thanks to God for helping him score!

Now that is news!  Did you see it in any newspaper?  Definitely not, because it is ridiculous – that’s what the media thinks.  The affirmation of the presence and activity of God in our daily lives had to come from Africa.  On the other hand, Europe, the Christian continent, is busy dismantling everything which speaks of God.

Now, a father or mother cannot teach their children any religion.  They have to let them grow up and make their own choices.  That is what is called religious freedom.  But this is only happening in Christian Europe.  And it applies only to Christians.  All other religions teach their children their own religion and beliefs.  But free-thinking Europe wants to show the world that man is supreme and that he has no need of God.  If he discovers him in his own lifetime, that’s all well and good.  If he doesn’t, that should not be a problem at all.  This is also called democracy.

European leaders are wary of mentioning God in their speeches, although there have been a few exceptions.  However, as a general rule, God has nothing to do with men and women, and should be left alone in his heaven, or wherever He may be.  Humans must be free from the shackles of religion, especially if it is Christian.

No other religion behaves in this way.  No other continent – only Europe. We don’t need crucifixes around, and no public display of piety.  These things are archaic, a reminder of a distant Dark Age.  We now live in the light of modernism and only man and man-made things exist.  The rest is a myth, a lie, a fallacy, a narrow-minded mentality.  We are past this age now.

This means that Europe has basically become a pagan entity.  Nay, not even pagan, but atheistic.  Pagans believed in many gods.  Many of today’s European Christians believe only in themselves.  They don’t realise that they have become their own gods, and they worship themselves.

Fortunately for the human race, Europe is not the world.  At least there are other peoples who still refer to God as someone who is important to them in their daily lives.  These peoples will be the future missionaries of Europe.  In other centuries the Europeans travelled to faraway places to bring them the faith.  Now these peoples will be returning to Europe to convert her once more.
